Charles D. Cummings
Partner
Mr. Cummings is a trial lawyer, whose practice emphasizes real estate, eminent domain and business litigation. He also counsels clients on all types of real estate negotiations and transactions including issues related to purchase and sale, leases, title, deeds of trust, liens, foreclosures, broker commissions and boundary disputes. Charlie is a former member and chair of the Civil Service Commission for the City of San Gabriel. He also serves on a number of educational and charitable boards including the Advisory Board of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. Charlie graduated cum laude from both Loyola University in 1971 and Loyola Law School in 1974, where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.
Gary A. Kovacic

Mr. Kovacic concentrates his law practice in the areas of eminent domain, land use and zoning litigation. Gary served two terms as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Eminent Domain and Land Valuation Committee. He has lectured on eminent domain and planning issues at the American Planning Association’s National Planning Conference, National Zoning Institute and California Annual Conference. Since 2003, Gary has co-chaired CLE’s Annual Eminent Domain Conference in Los Angeles. From 1996 to 2006, Gary was a member of the Arcadia City Council, serving three full terms as mayor (1998-99, 2000-01, and 2004-05) and also serving as one of the Centennial Mayors in 2003. On April 8, 2008, Gary was elected to the Arcadia City Council for a new four-year term after taking a two-year term limit "time out." He has also chaired the Arcadia Planning Commission and Santa Anita Village Architectural Review Board. Gary graduated cum laude from both UCLA in 1973 and Southwestern University School of Law in 1976, where he was a note and comment editor of the Law Review.
Karyn A. McCreary

Karyn A. McCreary is a partner at the law firm of Sullivan, Workman & Dee, LLP in Los Angeles. Her practice is primarily dedicated to eminent domain litigation, and has represented both condemning agencies and private property owners. She has co-authored articles on the role of ethics in eminent domain for the annual CLE International Conference in Eminent Domain held annually in Los Angeles, California. She served as a contributing author for volumes 8 through 10 of the national treatise, Nichols on Eminent Domain. She is also a member of Chapter 67 of the International Right of Way Association. She received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and served as an editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
D. Daniel Pranata

Mr. Pranata is a litigator and transactional attorney. Danny graduated from Loyola Law School in 2001, where he served as a Staff Writer and an Articles Editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. In 1998, Danny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University where he double majored in History and Political Science.
Sherrill Tanibata
Of Counsel
Ms. Tanibata is an experienced trusts, wills, estate planning and probate lawyer. She also negotiates and drafts business agreements and contracts. Sheri is a graduate of UCLA and received her law degree from Loyola Law School.
Roger M. Sullivan
Of Counsel
Mr. Sullivan is an eminent domain and land use trial lawyer. Roger is past chair of the eminent domain committees of the American Bar Association, California State Bar and Los Angeles County Bar Association, and has also published many articles on eminent domain law including a cover article in Los Angeles Lawyer magazine. When California redrafted its comprehensive Eminent Domain Law, Roger testified in support of the legislation on behalf of the California State Bar as chair of its eminent domain committee. He also served on the American Bar Association committee that drafted the Uniform Eminent Domain Code. After service as a naval aviator, Roger obtained his law degree from Loyola Law School where he founded the St. Thomas More Law Society. Roger has served as president of Loyola’s Board of Visitors and received the law school’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 1989. Roger has handled several hundred eminent domain trials and is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Henry K. Workman
Of Counsel
Mr. Workman heads the firm’s trusts, wills, estates and probate practice, is one of the firm’s appellate lawyers, and also handles eminent domain and land use trials. He received his undergraduate degree from USC, where he captained the school’s first national championship baseball team, and received his law degree from Loyola Law School. Henry came to the firm after service in the military, six years as a professional baseball player (including a short stint with the New York Yankees) and three years as a deputy in the California Attorney General’s office concentrating on eminent domain litigation.
Thomas E. O'Sullivan

As a former Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. O’Sullivan brings a practical approach and perspective to his sophisticated tax, estate planning and probate practice. After military service in Europe in World War II, Ed received his undergraduate degree from USC and his law degree from Loyola Law School.
Henry G. Bodkin

After decades as the senior partner of the prominent Bodkin, McCarthy law firm in Los Angeles, Mr. Bodkin joined Sullivan, Workman & Dee, LLP as a litigator and trial attorney. He has served as a trustee of Loyola Marymount University and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, president of the Board of Water and Power Commissioners of the City of Los Angeles, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Conference of Delegates of the California State Bar. Grat received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University and law degree from Loyola Law School.
Hodge L. Dolle
Of Counsel
Mr. Dolle has concentrated his legal practice in the areas of eminent domain and inverse condemnation litigation for over 35 years. He received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Southern California. He has served as chief trial counsel in numerous major eminent domain and inverse condemnation jury trials involving property in California, Texas and Nevada. He has represented property and business owners and governmental agencies in eminent domain actions involving a wide range of properties and property interests. He has also acquired significant experience in the valuation of special use properties such as churches, schools, landfills, and airports. Mr. Dolle’s practice also includes initiating legislation at the local, state and federal levels on behalf of clients. He is the author of many articles on the subjects of eminent domain and inverse condemnation, and often lectures on these subjects before legal and appraisal organizations. Mr. Dolle is a member of the California Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
