Firm History The firm's history dates back to 1957, when its predecessor opened offices in the Rowan Building on Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles. The firm and its predecessors have practiced in various downtown Los Angeles locations ever since. The present offices at 800 South Figueroa were opened in 1985. On December 19, 2003, one of our founding partners, John J. Dee, passed away. John (pictured above) was a well-known eminent domain lawyer. He will be missed.
