Mr. Sullivan is an eminent domain and land use trial lawyer. Roger is past chair of the eminent domain committees of the American Bar Association, California State Bar and Los Angeles County Bar Association, and has also published many articles on eminent domain law including a cover article in Los Angeles Lawyer magazine. When California redrafted its comprehensive Eminent Domain Law, Roger testified in support of the legislation on behalf of the California State Bar as chair of its eminent domain committee. He also served on the American Bar Association committee that drafted the Uniform Eminent Domain Code. After service as a naval aviator, Roger obtained his law degree from Loyola Law School where he founded the St. Thomas More Law Society. Roger has served as president of Loyola’s Board of Visitors and received the law school’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 1989.
Roger has handled several hundred eminent domain trials and is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Cummings is an eminent domain trial lawyer. Charlie is a former member and chair of the Civil Service Commission for the City of San Gabriel. He also serves on a number of educational and charitable boards including the Advisory Board of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. Charlie graduated cum laude from both Loyola University in 1971 and Loyola Law School in 1974, where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.

Mr. Kovacic concentrates his law practice in the areas of eminent domain, land use and zoning litigation. Gary served two terms as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Eminent Domain and Land Valuation Committee. He has lectured on eminent domain and planning issues at the American Planning Association’s National Planning Conference, National Zoning Institute and California Annual Conference. Since 2003, Gary has co-chaired CLE’s Annual Eminent Domain Conference in Los Angeles. Gary served as a member of the Arcadia City Council for 10 years (including four terms as mayor) and also chaired the Arcadia Planning Commission and Santa Anita Village Architectural Review Board. Gary graduated cum laude from both UCLA in 1973 and Southwestern University School of Law in 1976, where he was a note and comment editor of the Law Review.

Mr. Dzida is an eminent domain trial lawyer. He has represented both private property owners whose land was taken in eminent domain for public use, and governmental entities and public utilities exercising the power of eminent domain. Joe has published several articles about current legal issues including a cover article in Los Angeles Lawyer magazine. Joe obtained his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1976 and his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1979, where he was on the Law Review staff.

Mr. Rogers is an eminent domain trial lawyer. He is a former president of the Harbor Bar Association. He divides his time between the firm’s main office in downtown Los Angeles and the firm’s branch office in San Pedro. Rob received his undergraduate degree from Saint Martin’s College in 1978 and his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1982, after service in the U.S. Army Rangers.

Ms. McCreary is an eminent domain litigator. She received her undergraduate degree in Japanese Studies, with honors, from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in 2000. She received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in December of 2002. While at the University of Michigan, she served as an editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review and as director of the Courtyard Players.

Danny graduated from Loyola Law School in 2001, where he served as a Staff Writer and an Articles Editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. In 1998, Danny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University where he double majored in History and Political Science.

Mr. Workman heads the firm’s trusts, wills, estates and probate practice, is one of the firm’s appellate lawyers, and also handles eminent domain and land use trials. He received his undergraduate degree from USC, where he captained the school’s first national championship baseball team, and received his law degree from Loyola Law School. Henry came to the firm after service in the military, six years as a professional baseball player (including a short stint with the New York Yankees) and three years as a deputy in the California Attorney General’s office concentrating on eminent domain litigation.
